About the role
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our growing team at IQ Infinite Technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing scalable web applications using PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions. Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and related frameworks (Laravel / CodeIgniter / Symfony).
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Integrate third-party APIs and build RESTful APIs.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirement
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, MVC architecture, and database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Laravel, Livewire, or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TailwindCSS (or other front-end frameworks).
- Experience with Git, REST APIs, and Composer.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, AWS, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of unit testing and PHPUnit.
- Exposure to Angular or React.
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Location & Commitments
Permanent, full-time role based at our Ahmedabad, Gujarat office Monday–Friday.
